The challenge

Cultivate Agri Partnerships came to us before it had a name: an agribusiness investment venture with farms to acquire, capital to raise, and a need for the whole stack, an identity investors would trust and the documents that would earn the money.

Years later came the second test. Cultivate was launching Project Arcadia, a new investment offering, into a country in flux. The offering was well vetted, but investor confidence was not a given, and the warm, characterful brand built for a young business no longer said what investors needed to hear: stability, rigour, a long view.

The solution

We developed the company name, then the brand to carry it: identity, messaging and tone of voice, templates, a corporate profile, and a website written, designed and built in-house.

When the raising began, we ran the document side of several waves of capital: teaser one-pagers to open doors, information memoranda researched, written and developed for each round, bespoke presentations for individual investors, and updates that kept them warm between raises.

The research meant leaving the desk. Emma visited the farms, photographed them and art-directed an image library, mapped the holdings and built profile documents for each asset, along with video, so every document was made from the place itself rather than stock imagery.

And when the market turned, we suggested the refresh ourselves, and kept it cost-effective. The palette moved from warm tones to a trust-evoking blue, the much-loved Senepol bull made way for a Fibonacci-inspired identity joining farmland, animal and family into one integrated offering, and the website was rebuilt on a CMS with dynamic content, so the client could take over its management whenever they chose.

The result

The work compounded. Each raise started further ahead than the last, with the story, the templates and the image library already standing, and the brand grew up alongside the business it was built for: personable, with institutional steadiness, made for the investor who feels good about backing Australian family agriculture.

In the director's own words: 'I am very happy, Ellery is adding tremendous value.' From the first sketch of a name to the investor table, and still going.
